Tooltip Options

These settings control the visibility of tooltips by Cursor that appear in some places.

To configure these settings, open the Cursor Settings Popup, open the Advanced collapsible, and navigate to the Tooltip section.

Chat/Edit Tooltip

This controls the visibility of the Chat/Edit tooltip that pops up when you highlight code in the editor and the shortcut hint that shows up next to your cursor when you don’t have code highlighted.

Terminal Tooltip

This controls the hint text Insert to generate a command at the bottom of the terminal.
